| Brig is a gorgeous boy bred in the purple. His dad Straw Boater is a half brother to the illustrious Eng Ch Rocheby Royal Oak. We hope he will grow up to be a valuable addition to us here at Rodorbal and Graebar. He is a lovely level headed young dog who is very gentle, but shows very well. He lives with Kate and her family and is lovely with 3 year old Chelsea and 20 month old Josh. Brig is an extremely athletic dog like his uncle Seamus (Jayncourt Star Showman Imp UK) and loves nothing better than to spend the day retrieving and swimming. Critique by Margaret Brown UK at SA Labrador Club show: "Yellow with a good masculine head, alert expression kind eye, not quite the front angulation of 1 & 2 however, has an excellent topline, short dense coat of the correct texture, top size dog who has reached his height but just needs a bit more time to fill out his frame. At the SA Labrador Club Ch Show in June under Max Martin (ACT), he was 2nd puppy dog and his critique was: "A young yellow puppy showing correct height and body proportions. Coat and tail good. Preferred head on the first placegetter". Brig has 2:1 hips and 0:0 elbows and is PRA and EIC clear. Current clear eye certificate (May 2009) He is a lovely big moving youngster who is slowly maturing. |
